Trevor Lawrence is among the early candidates for billing as the top quarterback in the class of 2018.
Earlier this month, the 6-foot-5, 180-pound rising sophomore from Cartersville, Georgia visited Clemson and picked up an offer before leaving campus.
“It was a pretty cool deal. I really like it up there. It’s nice, really nice and I like all the coaches,” Lawrence said, during a recent interview with TheClemsonInsider.
“I was taking a tour all day then I sat down with coach Streeter and he talked to me for about 10 minutes and he said that I had an offer.
