Clemson Baseball Gets 2-0 Sweep vs Duke

In a rain shortened series, the Tigers pick up a double header sweep against the Blue Devils.

After Friday's game was postponed due to rain, the Tigers and Devils squared off in a Saturday doubleheader, with the plan of playing game three on Sunday. In game one, Clemson took a 6-2 victory. The Tigers jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the 3rd, and then extended it to 6-1 in the 5th as they had 4 runs cross the plate. The standard Friday night starter, Matthew Crownover, tossed 7 innings of 1 run baseball, also giving up an unearned run and 3 walks while striking out 7.
