The Cincinnati Reds (41-57) kickoff a 10-game road trip with a single game in Cleveland (51-45) to make up for the May 25th rain out. The Reds still wish the division race was still as close today as it was when these two teams last met. At that time, the Reds were in 4th place but at 22-24 just three games out of first place. Today the Reds find themselves in last place and 10.5 games behind the Chicago Cubs, who just won eight of their last ten.
The Cleveland Indians dropped two of three against Cincinnati in May and were 2nd in their division when tonight’s game was originally scheduled to take place.
