Nova believes he is moving in the right direction after holding the Padres to three runs (two earned) over six innings on Friday, his first quality start since April 26. The veteran right-hander is 1-4 with a 5.08 ERA in five starts at GABP.
Castillo made it five innings in his last start against Chicago, scattering one run on six hits, but did not factor in the decision. He'd won each of his previous two outings before that and reached the sixth inning in both of those starts.
