Joe Mauer catches for Minnesota Twins, with former Red Matt Belisle pitching

Joe Mauer, who has spent his entire 15-season Major League Baseball career with the Minnesota Twins, made an appearance at catcher for the first time since 2013 in what may have been an emotional farewell to fans as he's reportedly mulling retirement. And former Cincinnati Reds pitcher Matt Belisle, who has become a good friend of Mauer's during his two seasons with the Twins, was on the mound to throw the pitch to Mauer.

From 1500espn.com's Judd Zulgad:

“Playing with Matt the last couple of years, and the amount of respect that I have for him and how he goes about his business, the player he is and the person he is, I wanted him to share that moment with me,” Mauer said.
