The Bats were buoyed by the return to the mound of Robert Stephenson, and Bob Steve put the Freekbass back into the bump of the Cincinnati Reds future once again. Bob tossed a scoreless 4 innings, and while he wasn't dominant throughout, it was great grand beautiful to see him healthy and throwing darts after his recent forearm scare. Layne "Rooster" Somsen backed him with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief, and a dinger from Juan "Hi-Ho" Silva provided all the offense an otherwise shutdown Louisville staff would need.
