We now know who will replace Josh Smith in the Cincinnati Reds’ starting rotation, as the team announced that left-hander David Holmberg will be called up from Triple-A Louisville to start Thursday’s game at the Miami Marlins.

No corresponding move has been made, but it’s probably safe to assume that outfielder Yorman Rodriguez, who was just called up yesterday, will be sent back down to make room for Holmberg.
