A few pearls from cornerback Adam Jones before Wednesday’s practice as he continues to morph into a defensive leader:
_Asked if ever wonders where his punt return numbers would be if he did it all the time, the NFL’s incumbent All-Pro returner didn’t blink.
“No,’ he said. “If of, would have, could have. If I never would have got suspended, I’d have $100 million right now, so you know how that goes.”
_In an odd way, that year suspension and another year in exile has allowed Jones to keep the tread on his body while storing up football acumen.
