Prosecutor drops felony against Bengals' Adam Jones

The Enquirer/Sam Greene

The Bengals' Adam "Pacman" Jones will not face a felony charge in an alleged spitting incident at the Hamilton County Jail, officials said Wednesday.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said in a statement that the harassment with a bodily substance charge has been dismissed at his request.

Deters said his office received a letter from Jones’ physician that says "Jones is doing well in treatment."

No further details were provided.

The 33-year-old Bengals player, however, still faces three misdemeanor charges connected to a Jan. 2 incident at the Downtown Millennium Hotel that preceded the alleged incident at the jail.
