Adam "Pacman" Jones will not face a felony charge for allegedly spitting on a female nurse at the Hamilton County Jail, officials said Wednesday.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said in a statement that the harassment with a bodily substance charge was dismissed at his request. Jones had faced up to one year in prison, if convicted.

Deters said his office received a letter from Jones’ physician that said "Jones is doing well in treatment." Jones has been in counseling and an anger management program, according to his attorneys.
