With Vontaze Burfict suspended for the first quarter of the season, his starting spot at Will linebacker is up for grabs. The most likely candidate to start there is 2017 sixth-round pick Jordan Evans, but Jefferson can make a meaningful impression in training camp and the preseason to keep his name in the conversation. So it’s good to see him putting in work in the weeks leading up to the start of camp. The type of work that, you and I, couldn’t shouldn’t think of doing.
