Bengals handle Eagles, but solid win may be too little, too late

CINCINNATI – It took the Cincinnati Bengals 13 weeks, but they finally looked like the team that made the playoffs five years in a row.

Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict picked off Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz twice, Andy Dalton threw for 332 yards and two touchdowns and the Bengals defense pitched a first-half shutout en route to a 32-14 win.

It was the Bengals first win since defeating the Browns at home on Oct. 23.

Burfict was the defensive star of the game on Sunday, not only picking up his first two interceptions of the season and returning one back 47 yards, but he also had 15 total tackles and four pass deflections.
