Bengals 50: Ickey Woods, shuffling to the Super Bowl

Perhaps no phrase is as synonymous with the Cincinnati Bengals as The Ickey Shuffle. Elbert "Ickey" Woods broke on the scene with a dynamic running style and nine-step touchdown celebration during the Super Bowl season of 1988 and hasn't left the club's national persona since.

During Woods' rookie year he paired with James Brooks in the backfield and produced a franchise record 15 rushing touchdowns while averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

The national phenomenon forced the fullback to take his celebrations to take out of the end zone and to the sideline by the end of the season and would be joined by the defensive backs for a new grand finale.
