Cincinnati Bearcats verbal commitment Jarron Cumberland has been upgraded to a Top 100 recruit by ESPN. Cumberland is a member of UC’s 2016 recruiting class who announced his intentions way back in early July.
The prolific shooting guard from Wilmington, Ohio has been absolutely tearing up the AAU circuit. On King James (OH), Cumberland averaged a demi-godlike 20.8 points per game, which was good for fourth highest in the Nike Peach Jam Tournament. He also shot 61% from the field and averaged 5.2 rebounds per game. All of this against the elite competition at the high school level.
