Scott Googins this year took over a University of Cincinnati baseball program accustomed mostly to losing. As UC enters the 2018 American Athletic Conference postseason tournament this week, Googins for now has UC on the sunny side of .500.
UC (28-26) is the No. 6 seed for the AAC tournament, which will be Tuesday through Sunday at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida.
