Crosstown Shootout shade: Bearcats' Mick Cronin disrespects ex-Xavier player Kerem Kanter

As Saturday's Crosstown Shootout gets closer, the back and forth between the two sides is heating up as it does every year.

Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Mick Cronin didn't disrespect any current Xavier Musketeers when asked about anything "strange" happening during the Crosstown Shootout, but did suggest that Kerem Kanter, who scored 17 points a year ago in his only Crosstown Shootout, is a guy who "never makes shots" - per video Tweeted by FOX 19's Jeremy Rauch.

Cronin didn't use Kerem's name - confusing him for his brother, the NBA's Enes Kanter, before correcting himself by saying, "his brother, actually.
