There's little doubt the University of Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team has grown and developed since a season-opening loss to Ohio State on Nov. 7.
That game – the first men's game staged at the newly renovated Fifth-Third Arena – was cause for consternation and reflection for the Bearcats. The response since then has been positive.
UC went on a six-game winning streak that spanned the remainder of November.
The extent of the Bearcats' (6-1) development will be revealed in full in the coming days as it embarks on a five-game swing against opponents that include high-major opponents (UCLA, Mississippi State) and local rivals (Northern Kentucky, Xavier).
