After making the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1974 last season, head coach Scott Googins' Cincinnati Bearcats baseball team will be tasked with continuing to build the program in 2020.
Juniors Joey Wiemer and Wyatt Stapp are among the players expected to lead the team offensively.
Wiemer, an outfielder from Temperance, Michigan, was named to Baseball America's preseason All-American third team. He hit .263 with 13 doubles, two triples, six home runs, 42 runs scored and 21 stolen bases.
