Chicago Fire, Orlando City SC Play to Scoreless Draw in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 4, 2017) – The Chicago Fire (7-3-4, 25 points) made it three straight matches unbeaten on the road on Sunday night, splitting points with Orlando City SC (7-5-3, 24 points) in a 0-0 draw at Orlando City Stadium.

A back-and-forth first half was punctuated by an Orlando red card in the 26th minute. Defender Rafael Ramos met Chicago’s Brandon Vincent on a 50-50 challenge outside the Orlando 18, and was shown red by referee Ted Unkel following the collision.

The Fire tested goalkeeper Joe Bendik twice as the first half came to a close -- first on a Nemanja Nikolic one-two with David Accam in the Orlando box and second on an Accam solo run -- but the Orlando defense was up to the task on both occasions, maintaining a 0-0 score at the half.
