Chicago Fire Foundation Announces Inaugural Associates Board

CHICAGO (Feb. 17, 2016) – The Chicago Fire Foundation announced Wednesday the 25 members of the first-ever Chicago Fire Foundation Associates Board. This dynamic group of young professionals will act as ambassadors for the Chicago Fire Foundation by supporting events and programs such as P.L.A.Y.S. (Participate, Learn, Achieve, Youth, Soccer). The Associates Board will also work to support the Foundation’s mission of improving the quality of life throughout Chicagoland through sports-based youth development and direct service programs.

“We are excited to engage these philanthropic young professionals who are actively involved in the Chicago community and share a common interest in soccer and youth development and want to make a difference in the local community,” said Chicago Fire Foundation Executive Director Jessica Yavitz.
