The shocking departure of Len Kasper from the Cubs TV booth to the White Sox radio booth has, as you might expect, prompted discussion of who would replace Len.
Earlier articles indicated that Chris Myers, who has worked for ESPN and Fox Sports and who was supposed to fill in for Len for a few Marquee games in 2020, would be the broadcaster replacing Kasper.
But, a Cubs press release on Len’s departure included this quote from Marquee’s general manager Mike McCarthy:
“Len has been a fantastic play-by-play man for several years here with the Chicago Cubs, and we wish him nothing but the best in this new endeavor.
