With the news that Chicago Cubs pitcher Brett Anderson had a back issue (again), we started speculating about what the team would do in the wake of an injury that was shrouding another bad start. Lo and behold, we have our answer:
The #Cubs today recalled RHP Justin Grimm and INF Tommy La Stella from @IowaCubs.
LHP Brett Anderson was placed on the 10-day DL (low back strain), and LHP Rob Zastryzny was optioned to @IowaCubs.
It was inevitable that the Cubs would bring Tommy La Stella back, since he hits left-handed and can also play the infield.
