Numbers Won’t Tell The Whole Story

I think one of the weird things about humans is that no matter how open-minded we think we are, we actually have a few hard-headed places in our personality that make us reticent to change. And even when we do accept change, we accept it in a way that almost mandates that we force others to change with us in a way that is sometimes too aggressive, and may ironically frustrate those we want to change into not being as accepting of that change as we were. You would think that there would be a happy medium here, but that’s what makes each one of us unique–we don’t evaluate “extremes” and “moderation” quite the same due to our individuality.
