Cubs place RHP Yu Darvish on the 10-day disabled list … LHP Randy Rosario recalled from Triple-A Iowa
The Cubs made a rather surprising roster move just before Saturday’s game versus the Giants. The Cubs placed RHP Yu Darvish on the 10-day DL. To take Darvish’s spot on the active roster, LHP Randy Rosario was recalled from Triple-A Iowa.
Darvish was scheduled to start the finale with the Giants on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. Instead, the Cubs will have Tyler Chatwood make the start. The Cubs have not announced who will make Monday’s start against the Pirates in Pittsburgh.
