Cubs prospect OF Eloy Jimenez records four hits including first career Grand Slam
Eloy Jimenez continued tearing up the Midwest League on Friday night in South Bend’s 11-7 victory over Lake County. Jimenez went 4-for-5 with two doubles, four runs scored and launched the first Grand Slam of his career in the fifth inning. Jimenez’s slam traveled an estimated 440-450 feet.
With around five weeks left in the minor league regular season, Eloy Jimenez has already put up impressive numbers after a slow start in what is his first year of full-season baseball.
