The Iowa Cubs stopped the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals), 4-3 in 11 innings.
It was a terrific start for Luke Farrell, who allowed just one hit and no runs over five innings. He struck out five and walked two.
Omaha tied up the game with three runs in the eighth inning off of Alberto Baldonado, including a home run by Paulo Orlando that no one at the park other than the two umpires thought was a fair ball.
