The win went to Alberto Baldonado, who took over for Mills after he walked a batter with two out in the seventh. Baldonado gave up no runs on one hit over 1.1 innings. He neither walked nor struck anyone out.
Second baseman Ryan Court singled home catcher Ali Solis with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the I-Cubs a lead.
