What type of draft prospect should the Bulls be looking at?
They desperately need someone who can shoot the ball. A young player with high upside would be a nice change of pace, too. And a guy that comes from a well-respected program would be icing on the cake, given management’s preference for those types of players.
It’s tough to find prospects that check all of those boxes in the middle of the first round, but potential sleeper pick TJ Leaf could be that guy for the Bulls. There’s a good chance that he will be available when the Bulls select at 16 — The Ringer has Leaf 26th on their big board and DraftExpress has him 21st.
