Since there’s been no reports on the status of Nikola Mirotic with the Chicago Bulls, the ongoing saga now has been the potential buyout between the franchise and Dwyane Wade.
Wade, who has one more season left on the two-year deal he signed prior to last season, is owed $23.8 million by the Bulls this year thanks to a player option. With the Bulls set for a rebuild, Wade has been the subject of buyout rumors ever since the front office traded Jimmy Butler.
According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, a buyout could happen, but the two sides aren’t really in agreement, close to one or even discussing one for that matter.
