With Rajon Rondo’s absence extended another game, tonight’s game between the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics becomes a little less competitive.
The Bulls have played poorly without Rondo, dropping two consecutive games in Chicago and erasing their promising 2-0 lead.
In game 4, Jimmy Butler led the Bulls with 33 points, including 19 made free-throws, but his individual performance wasn’t enough for Chicago. On the other end, Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics with 33 points and received help from Al Horford (15 points and 12 rebounds) and Gerald Green (18 points).
Although the offense for Chicago remained relatively stagnant in game 4, the addition of Isaiah Canaan off the bench provided a spark.
