The Bulls appear to be pulling out of the throes of the flu bug that has decimated them over the past week. Jimmy Butler got very graphic about his experience with the illness while he missed two games but returned on Saturday. Power forward Nikola Mirotic, meanwhile, has missed the Bulls’ last four games with the same virus that traveled around the Bulls’ locker room, and will be back Tuesday night when they face the Dallas Mavericks at the United Center.
“Niko will be available,” Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said Tuesday morning after shootaround. “We’ll have to keep a close eye on him.
