Bulls trade Jimmy Butler to Timberwolves for Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, No. 7 pick

The will-they-or-won't-they uncertainty is over. The Bulls have chosen to commit to a full rebuild, completing a trade to send three-time All-Star forward Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the No. 7 pick in the draft, second-year guard Kris Dunn and fourth-year guard Kris Dunn, a source with knowledge of the deal confirmed to The Athletic. The deal was first reported by ESPN. The Bulls will reportedly also send the No. 16 pick to Minnesota.

The Bulls were high on Dunn last year, when he was the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 draft.
