ESPN Anchor Blames Adidas Shoes For Derrick Rose's Injuries

There are plenty of opinions surrounding Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose and his injury history, but ESPN anchor Sarah Spain threw out a conspiracy theory on the debate show "His & Hers", blaming Adidas.

The theory goes all the way back to when Rose tore his ACL in 2012 and Nike designer Jason Petrie sent out a tweet saying Rose "chose poorly" by not signing with Nike.

ESPN's Sport Science analyzed the former MVP before the injuries and concluded that the force of Rose's cuts put three times a player's body weight on one ankle. With that knowledge, plus the fact that he wears tight ankle braces and leg sleeves, makes it hard to blame the shoe company.
