Tomas Tatar scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Team Europe over Team Sweden, 3-2, Sunday to advance to the World Cup final best-of-three series against Team Canada.
The series begins at 7 p.m. CT Tuesday on ESPN.
The Chicago Blackhawks will be represented by three players in the final: Corey Crawford and Jonathan Toews (Canada) and Marian Hossa (Europe).
Canada clinched a spot in the final with a 5-3 victory over Team Russia on Saturday. Toews skated 19 minutes, 18 seconds with a 67 percent winning percentage in the face-off circle during Canada’s win.
