Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Anton Forsberg will have a new mask for the 2018-19 season, and with it comes a tribute to the late Swedish artist, DJ and producer Avicii.
Forsberg’s mask features a portrait of Avicii, whose given name was Tim Bergling, on the left side. Bergling died at age 28 on April 20 in Muscat, Oman. No official cause of death has been released.
Bergling worn a Blackhawks hat in a August 2013 video titled “Becoming: Avicii” on his official YouTube page.
