Blackhawks forward prospect Roy Radke will have season-ending shoulder injury, according to multiple sources.
Radke, 20, recently finished his OHL season with the Barrie Colts and last week signed an amateur tryout agreement with the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate. Radke underwent a physical prior to joining the team, and a shoulder injury, which occurred during his OHL season, was examined and surgery was recommended.
Radke, a 2013 sixth-round draft pick, was planning to finish his season with the IceHogs in order to give the Blackhawks more time to determine whether to offer him an entry-level contract.
