Blackhawks announce 2016-17 national television schedule

In conjunction with the National Hockey League, the Chicago Blackhawks today announced their 2016-17 regular-season national television schedule. Nationally, the Blackhawks will appear exclusively on NBC (including NBC and NBCSN) 11 times, the maximum allowed per the league’s national television agreement. Additionally, the Blackhawks will appear in ten non-exclusive nationally televised games, totaling a league-high 21 national appearances.

The Blackhawks’ first nationally televised game is scheduled for the season-opener on Wednesday, Oct. 12 when they host the St. Louis Blues at 7 p.m. on NBCSN. Additionally, the game time for the Nov. 23 game at San Jose changed to 9 p.
