Back home in Florida last week, Bears guard Josh Sitton helped raise awareness and funds for a cause that’s near and dear to his heart.
The 10-year NFL veteran coordinated and attended a sold-out gala in Pensacola benefitting the Studer Community Institute’s efforts to improve early childhood learning for kids from birth to kindergarten.
“I think a lot of people focus on high school and college education and they don’t think about early learning development and how important that is,” Sitton told the Pensacola News Journal. “That is what we are trying to do.
