Bears year in review: Is this what rock bottom looks like?

Wow! What a magical year. Wiping away 108 years of, wait, what? I have to write about the Bears again? Man, I never get to cover a winner.

Jokes aside, with the Cubs bringing home shiny World Series hardware in 2016 (they also won more games in November than the Bears did), the Bears now hold the dubious distinction of the longest championship drought for a Chicago team at 31 years.

Back at his introductory press conference in January 2015, Bears head coach John Fox quipped, "That [Lombardi] trophy looks pretty lonely out there."

Fox hasn't proven to be much of a matchmaker.
