Derek Carr trade rumors are swirling as reports suggest that the Raiders are going to offer Tom Brady a 2 year, $60 million contract. If the Raiders land Brady, they’ll have to trade or cut Carr. Would the Bears be interested in a Derek Carr trade? If not Carr, how about trading for Andy Dalton? The Bengals are almost certainly going to draft Joe Burrow with the #1 pick in the NFL Draft, which means Dalton is available. Colts’ QB Jacob Brissett could be a lesser option if the Bears want to bring in someone to challenge Mitchell Trubisky, but not necessarily start.

The Bears could swing big on a QB trade and target someone like Dak Prescott. Dak is expected to remain with the Cowboys, but negotiations are somewhat sticky and if Dallas franchise tags him, he could then be traded. Would the Bears want to trade a lot of draft capital to get Prescott? Cam Newton is another option as Chicago could probably get him for their higher 2nd round draft pick. Cam’s health is the biggest question mark for him moving forward.
