Roma have closed the gap on Lazio to six points after winning the Rome Derby 2-0 on Saturday evening.
Henrikh Mkhitarayan gave Roma the lead shortly before half time, and former Barcelona and Chelsea star Pedro wrapped up the points with a second late on. Lazio misery was further compounded after Francesco Acerbi was sent off late in the second half.
Roma remain seventh in Serie A and city rivals Lazio remain in sixth place.
