Aymen Abdennour has confirmed he held talks with English clubs during the summer transfer window, with Chelsea thought to be at the front of the queue to sign the highly-rated Valencia defender.
Abdennour attracted interest from across Europe after impressing during his debut season at the Mestalla.
However, a potential move to the Premier League fell through at the last minute, with Chelsea instead opting to re-sign David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain.
And although Abdennour refused to confirm he had held talks with the Stamford Bridge club, he did confirm he had attracted interest from a number of Premier League teams.
