Another Charlotte Hornet player has been named to ESPN’s top 400 NBA players list and this time it is the team’s starting small forward, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who comes in on the list at number 77. Kidd-Gilchrist was ranked as the 77th best player in the NBA for the upcoming 2015-2016 season.
Michael was recently injured during the preseason and will likely miss the rest of the season with a torn right labrum in his shoulder. This is a devastating blow to the Charlotte Hornets organization.
These rankings were made before the injury and his ranking was based on what ESPN thought he would do this season.
