There’s been nothing but good news for the Charlotte Hornets so far this offseason, but today’s news is a bit of bummer. The team is reporting that first round draft pick Malik Monk is doubtful to play in the Orlando Summer League after he sprained his left ankle during a pre-draft workout:
The team stated Monk’s rehab is expected to, “last two to four weeks” but he should be ready for training camp.
The injury shouldn’t be cause for concern, but it’s a shame we won’t be able to get an early look at him in Orlando.
