The Charlotte Hornets have made their signing of veteran small forward, Damien Wilkins, official. Wilkins signed his official Charlotte Hornets contract on Friday morning on October 16th. The deal between he two sides had already been verbally agreed upon before the team left on their China trip but Wilkins could not make it in time to sign the deal so they were forced to wait until the team got back to Charlotte earlier this week.
Now that both sides have officially met and that the deal has been signed, Wilkins is now an official member of the Charlotte Hornets team and will be ready to play in time for the team’s next preseason game against the New York Knicks on October 17th.
