The Charlotte Hornets franchise has been a staple among teams that play on Martin Luther King Day for the last few years, and that tradition will continue this year. On January 18th, at 5 P.M. the Hornets will hit the road and take on the Atlanta Hawks as one of 10 NBA games on MLK day. However, this game will not be on national TV, and likely be just a local broadcast.
Charlotte and Atlanta are both franchises that NBA makes sure to play on MLK day, and having the two play each other seems like a great idea.
