CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte women's soccer legend Whitney Weinraub (Tucci), class of 2011, will become the third player in program history to have her jersey retired when the 49ers honor her this weekend with a host of activities. One of the greatest players in school history, Weinraub donned the green and white from 2007-10 and completed her career with several individual records.
Fans are invited to help celebrate the occasion all weekend, starting with Saturday's football game against Fordham. Weinraub will be recognized on the McColl-Richardson Field during halftime after her and her guests partake in a tailgate pregame in Norm's Village.
