MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Charlotte volleyball started strong with an opening set win at Middle Tennessee on Friday night, but the Blue Raiders rallied back for a 3-1 (17-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-23) victory to open up Conference USA play.
DOMINATING FIRST SET
Charlotte (7-6, 0-1 C-USA) used an 8-0 run in the first set to take control in their 25-17 win. Emani' Foster got it started with a kill by Amani McArthur and Nalani Lyde posted combo blocks on two of the next three plays for a 12-10 lead.
