Signees Finish Prep Careers Strongly before Joining 49ers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The four original members of the Charlotte women's basketball signing class have completed their prep careers, each boosting their credentials as they prepare to join the 49ers this summer ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Let's take a look at them, one-by-one, with regards of their most recent accomplishments.

Lyrissa Deans, a 6-3 forward from Waldorf, Maryland, led her Bishop Ireton (Virginia) HS squad to 20 victories, including 11 against region competition. She netted a high of 17 points to go along with five rebounds in a January triumph over Carroll HS. She added eight points, including one of her three 3-pointers on the season, in a second victory over Carroll in February.
