CHARLOTTE, N.C. - On day two of the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State and the first day of the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by South Carolina, the Charlotte 49ers track and field team recorded 17 personal records, while seven Niners posted top-10 school performances in their respective events.

Chandler Horton claimed the top 49ers finish in the 5000m with an outdoor personal best of 16:35.15, which now ranks fourth all-time in school outdoor history. Horton also placed 26th out of 97 athletes. Louise Lounes followed with an outdoor PR of 16:55.
